Organizations and individuals may become Foundation members. Membership does not grant ownership of the protocol — it grants a voice in stewarding infrastructure built to remain open, neutral, and permissionless for the communities Greenwood was built to serve.

How members fit in
The Board of Directors oversees mission alignment and compliance. Executive Leadership manages daily operations. Technical Working Groups — open to members — do the work of maintaining and improving the protocol. Every layer answers to the Foundation's nonprofit mission, not to any private shareholder.

Greenwood remains permissionless public infrastructure. No membership tier, contribution level, or donation confers control over the network, its validators, or the applications built on it.
