Validator Network

Secured by independent validator operators.

Greenwood is secured by independent validator operators around the world. The Foundation publishes validator requirements but does not permanently control validator participation. Validator selection follows transparent technical requirements rather than private approval whenever possible.

Validate transactions

Verify and process every transaction submitted to the network.

Produce blocks

Author new blocks under Proof of Transport consensus.

Maintain consensus

Keep the network in agreement on the canonical chain state.

Secure the network

Defend against attacks and maintain uptime across the validator set.

Participate in governance

Review and vote on proposed protocol changes before adoption.

Publish uptime & standards

Operate under published, technical, non-discretionary requirements.

Network Governance

Governance gradually becomes more decentralized

Areas governed include protocol upgrades, consensus improvements, network parameters, technical standards, infrastructure improvements, developer proposals, and community initiatives. The Foundation facilitates governance rather than replacing it.
